Southern Decadence actually antedates The Circuit by a few years, but is of a similar nature, and is frequently called a hybrid event. Generally this event includes a parade, a public street party, and many special events in various venues in and around the compact French Quarter area. Owing to liberal serving laws, partying continues throughout the duration of the event.
