John Paulus is best known for his claim in 2006 that he had sex with American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken and that he had cum-stained rag to prove it. Although in perspective it is difficult to see that the allegation that Aiken had gay sex was considered shocking, evidently it was.

Paulus later recanted this story, saying he was urged to lie about Aiken by a shadowy group of conspirators who promised Paulus a chance to model for Lucas Entertainment if he cooperated. In other words, the retraction seemed about a silly as the original story. About the only certain here is that Paulus did appear on video for Lucas.
