Implicit Differentiation

Implicit differentiation is differentiation of functions which are defined implicitly. It is the function that is implicit. This is not a special technique of differentiation.

Intermediate Value Theorem

If f(x) is continuous from a to b and M is a value between a and b, then f(x) = M for at least one x in [a, b].
